Insure the Uninsured Project
Individuals and families in California and the rest of the nation are struggling to make ends meet, facing the challenge of choosing among the costs of housing, food, and medical care. In these times, many envision "one nation, insured" with affordable coverage, quality care and access to care for all.
This year's conference is geared towards discussing the Obama administration's efforts to achieve federal health care reform. We hope to look at ways to implement health reform in California under federal legislation, including a renewed hospital-financing waiver to cover more of the state's uninsured. Our aim is to increase knowledge, discussion and action towards meaningful and sustainable health care reform that cuts costs, covers more of the uninsured and better integrates the health care system to improve health outcomes.
TROUBLE?? If you're having trouble with this website, please fill out the old-fashioned version of the registration form here and then email to conference@itup.org or fax to 310-828-0911. You may have to first SAVE the document before you're able to open it.
Need to cancel? Our cancellation deadline is one week prior to the conference or by 02/02/10 at 5pm. After this time, we can only accept substitutions, not cancellations.
ITUP's mission is to work with state policy makers, counties, health plans, employers, unions, community groups, providers, and other public and private entities to increase coverage of California's 6.6 million uninsured.
